Three great names of southern Africa in one week: Victoria Falls, the elephants of Chobe in Botswana and two nights in a tented camp in the Okavango Delta, with mokoro outings. The price includes the international flight, ground services, the light-aircraft flights between Kasane, the Delta and Maun, and insurance.

Why it is unique

Victoria Falls are one kilometre and seven hundred metres wide and raise a cloud of spray visible thirty kilometres away. Chobe has the largest population of wild elephants in the world. In the Okavango Delta you go out by 4x4 and by mokoro, the traditional canoe, and also at night.

When to go

Departures run from January to October. From July to October, in the dry season, the animals gather along the rivers and safari is at its best: it costs more. The falls are at full flow from April to June, with lots of spray; between September and November the Zambian side can be almost dry.

What the trip is like

A trip with transfers, without the same guide throughout: English-speaking drivers for the transfers, an Italian-speaking guide for the falls, the lodges’ own guides for the safaris. Between Kasane, the Delta and Maun you fly on light aircraft, with weight limits for soft bags.

Good to know

Italian citizens enter Zambia and Botswana without a visa; any visas and entry taxes are paid at the border, in cash, and are not included. You visit the falls from the Zambian or the Zimbabwean side, as you prefer: on the Zimbabwean side the visa is paid separately. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended in the Delta and in Chobe. Children under 6 are not accepted at Kadizora Camp. The “from” price applies from January to June; from July to October it costs about €1,160 more per person.
