You tell the story, we organise the trip: each of us does their own job, under contract.

Your affiliate link and your code
Your link opens your personal page, weltweg.com/travel/YOURNAME, with your photo, a line from you and the trips you recommend. You can also add ?ref=YOURNAME to any page of the site: whoever arrives that way finds your code already filled in on the forms and in the WhatsApp message.
Your code is your name, easy to remember. Someone who saw you in a reel and comes back days later types it in the “Partner code” field or mentions it on WhatsApp.
How you know a sale is yours
The code goes into the client’s request and stays there: if they confirm the trip months later, the commission is yours.
Visitors from your link keep the code for the whole visit; if they accept marketing cookies, the site remembers it for 60 days. Every month you get a summary of requests, confirmed trips and commissions, without the clients’ personal data.

Travel affiliate program FAQs
How much can I earn with a travel affiliate program?
With us, 4% of the price of every trip sold and 5% from the third booking. A Tanzania safari with Zanzibar’s beaches for two, €9,440, earns €378 in commission; three trips a year, between couples and families, add up to more than €1,300. The big booking platforms pay similar percentages, but on bookings of a few hundred euros.
When do I get paid?
Within the month after the client’s final payment, by bank transfer: usually before they even leave. Cancelled and refunded trips earn no commission.
How do I know a sale is mine?
Your code goes into the client’s request, whether it comes from your link, the “Partner code” field or WhatsApp, and stays there until the booking. Every month you get a summary of requests, confirmed trips and commissions.
Do I need a big following to apply?
No, there is no minimum. What counts is the quality of your content and your audience’s trust: a small account about nature and long trips can bring more travellers than a big, generic one.
What if a follower books months later?
The code stays tied to their request: if they confirm the trip months later, the commission is yours. If they come back to the site without your link within 60 days and accepted marketing cookies, the code is already there; otherwise they just type it in the “Partner code” field or mention it on WhatsApp.
Do I need a VAT number?
Not to apply. We pay against an invoice or receipt, depending on your tax status: tax obligations are yours, and your accountant will tell you what you need.
Do I have to sell trips or prepare quotes?
No. You tell the story and recommend; quotes, contracts, payments and assistance are our job. It is also the law: in Italy only a licensed agency can sell package trips.
Do my followers pay more?
No. The price is the same for everyone, with or without a code.
What materials do you provide?
Your personal page, photos of the places, itineraries and trip sheets to use in your content, and official prices and terms.
Can I apply if I live outside Italy?
Yes. The site and our assistance are in Italian, English and German. The agreement is governed by Italian law.
