Weltweg app terms of use

1. What the app is. The Weltweg app is a travel companion: it shows the programme of the journey you have booked, a map with borders, parks and stops, content pages, tools (packing list, seasons calendar, quizzes) and reminders, and lets you record sightings, stamps and certificates. It is free and does not require an account.

2. What it is not. It is not the travel contract. The terms, the services included and excluded, the documents and the guarantees are those of the contract signed with the agency. In the event of any difference between the app and the contract, the contract prevails.

3. Times, distances and figures. Sunrise and sunset are calculated; distances, journey times, temperatures and kilometres are averages or estimates; sighting percentages are industry estimates; exchange rates are indicative as of the date shown. They are there to help you find your bearings.

4. It is not a navigation or safety tool. The map is not a road map and does not replace your guide, signage or common sense. Stamps and certificates are based on approximate circles and on the phone’s location, which may be inaccurate. In an emergency, rely on local numbers and those in your contract.

5. Content. The pages are written by the agency and checked against public sources, cited page by page. An error may slip through: anyone who finds one can report it to hello@weltweg.com and it will be corrected in an update.

6. Data. The privacy notice, available in the app and on the website, applies.

7. Ownership. The texts, graphics and Weltweg brand belong to Trinova S.r.l.s. Third-party photographs and data (Natural Earth, Pexels, Unsplash) remain the property of their respective authors, under their own licences.

8. Updates. The app may update itself on opening, without going through the app stores, to fix faults and add features. These terms may change: the date at the top will say so.
